Well I haven't had much time to work on the car since my last post, but I did get a bunch of stuff in the mail. Today was pretty much like Christmas for me. Anyway on to the pictures:

Split down pipes to replace my pre-cats


Energy Suspension sway bar bushings for the front sway bar and a new nissan slave cylinder.


Kenwood 500W Amp to power 2 6X9s. I still need to construct a box for the 6X9s

New (used) axle back exhaust to replace the terrible exhaust a previous owner had installed (it was uber rice). The need a little cleaning (maybe hit the tips with some brasso) and some high temp silver paint for everything except the tips, but when its done they'll look good.

Its been a long time since I've posted here, so I doubt anyone still rads this, but anyway...

Recently I purchased a used 300zx TT as a fun project car. The I bought it from guy wasn't asking a lot and the car was in good condition, especially for the amount of miles on it (140000). Anyway the car turned out to be leaking oil from the rear main seal, so 2 weeks ago I started the replacement. I had purchased a new clutch and flywheel prior, since I figured now would be a good time to replace them. Maybe I'll take some pictures of those tomorrow.

So far I'm about halfway through the whole job. The main exhaust is off, the drive shaft is out, the starter is pulled, the pre-cats are off, the transmission is out, the clutch and flywheel are out and the rear main seal and housing are pulled. The next step is re installation, which should commence next once the rest of the parts come in. Below are some pictures of the progress.

Anyway, thats all I have for now. Maybe I'll post some pics of new parts tomorrow. I also want to get a few pictures of the turbos while they're exposed.

So its been a while since my last entry... and even longer since my last "real" post, So here is my attempt.

The past year or so has been pretty decent. I wrapped up senior year at YCP and graduated as an ME. Nothing too notable about my last year there, except for our senior project. We designed, build and raced a mini formula car (Formula SAE). I miss being able to go to the metal shop and make shit. It was definitely an awesome time.

I got a job right out of school, and its turning out to be pretty sweet. I get to do a good bit of design work, which what I was hoping to do. The whole 8 hours of work is getting pretty old, but its nice to finally have a steady income.

I've been listening to a lot of my old music lately, and its making me miss college so bad. I miss all the people I knew. I've fallen away from so many of them and it kind of makes me sad. So if you knew me in college please leave me a comment. I would love to hear how things are going and such.

In an effort to revisit my college years I used this too, LJbook, which compiled all of my old entries into a pdf and started reading it. Its been pretty interesting so far. I can't really believe how much I've changed. (ends ramble)

Anyway there are a bunch of people I need to apologize to, because I'm an idiot... but if you've known me you should be aware of that.

Sean... I know you don't read LJ, but I'm sorry we grew apart. I really miss you dude and have wanted to call you on numerous occasion to apologize for never being around or returning your calls. Maybe someday I'll grow the balls to call and say this to you.

Steph... Like Sean I doubt you read LJ, but yeah. I'm sorry I was such a pussy bitch when we broke up. I wish I had kept in touch. I really miss your friendship. Also after reading a bunch of my past posts idk how you put up with me. I complained so much. I feel like an ass. I hope your doing well. It would be awesome to hear from you sometime.

Jess... Whats up? I miss talking to you too. I still have the lolz icon you made me. it makes me laugh. Are you a nurse now? or still at York?

Luke... Hows grad school? Hopefully better than YCP. lol. I still remember freshman year and the trouble you had with Drew. Those were some shitty times, but idk I really miss them. i remeber eating pizza and watching Cast away with you and Mike... and Mike's comment... "Whats next... Cast Away 2: Stranded On an Island In the Middle Of Russia." Anyway i finally got that computer built. Did you get to play Half Life 2 Episode 2 yet?

Kat... How are you doing? Every time i see a monty python film I think of you. Hows college going?

Samantha... How are you doing? I'm sorry things fell apart between us. We had some crazy times. I miss getting hammered with you and your friends. Hows college going for you? I miss talking to you about computer shit. Have you been keeping up on teh Pure Pwnage seasons?

Finally.

Ken... I talk to you sometimes, so I wont ask how you're doing. I owe everything to you tho. I've been re-reading my past entries and you helped me so much. I'm getting kind of choked up thinking about it. I miss how close we were, even though we were so far away. We would talk on AIM almost every day. I probably wouldn't have made it this far in life if it wasn't for you. You said once that I was like your brother, and i couldn't agree more. You will always be my best friend. I just wish we lived closer. The past year or so it feels like we've grown apart a bit (I don't even know what kind of music you like to anymore... and that sucks), but I hope now that I'm out of school this changes. I'll have the money to be able to come see you more often if thats OK with you. I really miss the hell out of you. Anyway I'll stop with the pussy talk. I just want to let you know that I appreciate everything you've done for me. I don't think I could possibly express how grateful I am to have had you with me through college.
